  • Bent Tree Golf and Country Club – Has proudly undergone major course renovations during the summer of 2010. With the renovations now complete, Bent Tree is home to beautiful new “Champion” bermuda greens, newly excavated and filled bunkers as well as remodelled fairways and tee boxes. The project can only be described as a complete success. A new way of thinking and a desire of our membership to grow our club has led to Bent Tree becoming one of the friendliest, laid back country clubs in the area.   • Bobcat Trail Golf Club – North Port, Florida Golf is pure pleasure at Bobcat Trail Golf Club, one of southwest Florida’s premier public courses. Nine additional holes were constructed in 1952 and another nine were added in 1967. The John H.   • Capri IslesCapri Isles Golf Club – One of the oldest semi-private golf courses in Venice. Located just off I-75 (Exit 193) near the heart of the City of Venice, Capri is perfectly situated for everyone staying in the Sarasota area looking for Venice golf. Rebuilt in 2003, this par 72 layout offers challenges that are guaranteed to capture the interest of the serious golfer or the casual player. The character and playability of the 18 hole course was enhanced with numerous expansions, including the additions of strategic water features, fairway and greenside bunkers, configurations of greens, rerouted layout, additional yardage and four (4) sets of tees.

  • GulfGateGulf Gate Executive Course – This Gulf Gate scenic golf course offers 27 holes with a total yardage on the 18 hole course of 2,311. There is an eighteen hole short course and a nine hole executive course. The Red Course is a links-style course that winds its way through house-lined fairways. Water hazards come into play on several holes, requiring accurate shots. The Blue Course (the executive course) also requires accurate shot placements and is just as much fun to play. Both courses have small greens and were built on flat terrain. The golf course is public and has a putting green.

  • IMGIMG Academy Golf – The scenic beauty of IMG Academy Golf Club provides an atmosphere for a great golf experience. The 18-hole championship golf course is a true test for low handicap players, and also eminently playable for higher handicappers.   • RollingGreenRolling Green Golf Club – The course is known throughout Sarasota for its collection of challenging par3 holes. Rolling Green offers four sets of tees. The course plays to nearly 6,500 yards from the back tees with the forward tees playing about 5,000 yards. His vision, combined with the existing wetlands and natural lay-of-the-land to create a masterpiece that Florida Golf News calls one of the top 100 courses in Florida and one of the top three in Sarasota! What Alden did was to take the rubberstamp Florida golf course and throw it to the wind.

Timber Creek is one of the most scenic golf course in the area. Par-3 Golf Course geared towards beginners, families, seniors, and those wanting to sharpen their short game. The course, part of which butts up against the Manatee County Golf Course, was once an 18-hole layout called Santa Rosa. Over the years Santa Rosa was shorted to its present size and renamed Timber Creek in the late 1970’s.
